Orenvo PDF is a free, offline desktop toolkit for merging PDFs, compressing PDFs, converting images to PDF, and converting image formats. All four tools run locally through a native Rust backend — no upload step, no daily limits, no watermarks, and no account.

Install on Windows

Download and install Orenvo PDF on Windows. Everything runs locally and no account is required.

  1. 01Download the installer (.exe or .msi) from the GitHub Releases page.
  2. 02Run it. Windows SmartScreen will likely show "Windows protected your PC."
  3. 03Click "More info", then click "Run anyway".
  4. 04Finish the installer and launch Orenvo PDF from the Start menu.
The first-download warning appears because Orenvo PDF is not yet code-signed. It is safe to continue if you downloaded it from the official KenoLabs GitHub release.

Install on macOS

Download and install Orenvo PDF on macOS. The first launch needs one Terminal step because the app is not yet notarized.

  1. 01Download the .dmg from the GitHub Releases page and drag Orenvo PDF into your Applications folder.
  2. 02Try to open it — macOS will likely say it "can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer" (Gatekeeper).
  3. 03Open Terminal: press Cmd + Space, type Terminal, and press Enter.
  4. 04Paste these two lines and press Enter: xattr -cr "/Applications/Orenvo PDF.app" then open "/Applications/Orenvo PDF.app"
  5. 05Orenvo PDF will open normally. After this first run, it keeps opening as usual.

PDF Merge

Combine multiple PDFs into a single file, in the order you choose.

  • Add the PDFs you want to combine, then drag to set their order.
  • Click Merge to produce a single combined PDF in your chosen output folder.

  • Select a PDF and choose a compression level.
  • Preview the estimated size reduction before exporting.

  • Add one or more images and drag to set page order.
  • Choose a page size — including custom sizes — before exporting.

Settings & troubleshooting

Orenvo PDF includes theme, accent color, and output folder settings, plus an About section with version details.

  • Switch between dark and light themes and pick an accent color in Settings.
  • Set a default output folder so exports always land where you expect.
  • Check the About section in Settings for the current version and release notes.
