StickerGrab user guide

Create, collect, and share stickers.

Learn how to save stickers from TikTok DMs, create static or animated stickers, organize them with names and tags, build packs, convert to GIF, and export through ZIP, Telegram, or Discord.

Quick facts

Current preview: StickerGrab v1.2 Beta.
Available for Windows x64 and universal macOS.
The TikTok extension supports Chrome, Brave, Edge, Opera, Vivaldi, and compatible portable Chromium browsers.
Your collection and packs stay on your computer.
StickerGrab is free to download and does not require an account.

Install StickerGrab

Direct link

Download the current beta directly from the official GitHub release.

  1. 01Download the Windows setup or universal macOS DMG for StickerGrab v1.2 Beta.
  2. 02Install and open the desktop app.
  3. 03Choose Extension Setup if you want to save media directly from TikTok DMs.
This is a beta build. Keep a copy of important source media and report repeatable problems from About → Report a bug.

Add the TikTok extension

Direct link

The in-app setup walks you through adding the extension to a supported browser.

  1. 01Open Extension Setup inside StickerGrab.
  2. 02Choose a detected browser, or select Can't find your browser? to locate a compatible portable Chromium executable.
  3. 03Follow the displayed steps to load the Manifest V3 extension, then reload it after a StickerGrab update.
  4. 04Keep StickerGrab open when you want selected TikTok media added directly to Collection.
The extension transfers selected media directly to the StickerGrab app on the same computer. If the app is closed, it can provide a ZIP fallback instead. Firefox is not currently supported.

Save stickers from a TikTok DM

Direct link

Select the original sticker and GIF files that are already loaded in an open conversation.

  1. 01Open TikTok messages in your browser and enter the conversation.
  2. 02Scroll until the stickers you want are visible and fully loaded.
  3. 03Choose Export Stickers, select the items, and confirm.
  4. 04Return to StickerGrab to review the new items in Collection.

Create a sticker

Direct link

Turn an image, video, clipboard capture, or supported public media link into a 512 × 512 sticker.

  1. 01Open Create Sticker and paste a link, upload or drop a file, or press Ctrl + V with an image copied.
  2. 02Choose a single frame or an animation up to three seconds.
  3. 03For video, drag the timeline handles and preview the selected loop.
  4. 04Move, crop, and zoom with the mouse, then add an outline, text, emoji, icons, or your own image layers if needed.
  5. 05Give the result an optional name and up to 12 searchable Collection tags.
  6. 06Preview the result and choose Add to Collection.
Background removal is available through the separate Orenvo app. StickerGrab opens its product page but does not transfer the current file automatically.

Name and tag stickers

Direct link

Save the words you will remember, then search by name or tag instead of scanning every thumbnail.

  • Enter an optional sticker name before adding a result to Collection.
  • Add up to 12 tags; StickerGrab removes a leading # and avoids duplicate tags.
  • Supported public TikTok and Reddit pages can suggest an editable name and tags when that information is available.
  • Open the Tags view to browse tagged and untagged items.
  • For one selected item, replace or clear its tags. For several selected items, add tags without removing existing ones.
  • Names and tags stay with Collection items when you use them in packs or GIF workflows.
Suggestions from public pages are best-effort. Login walls, bot checks, removed media, and page changes can prevent them from appearing; you can always enter your own name and tags.

Organize Collection and packs

Direct link

Find saved media quickly, then group favorites before sharing or archiving.

  • Search by sticker name or tag, browse the Tags view, and filter by media type or source.
  • Select multiple items for conversion, deletion, or a new pack.
  • Create named packs and change their contents at any time.
  • Removing an item from a pack keeps it in Collection; deleting it from Collection removes its managed local file.

Convert stickers to GIF

Direct link

Create GIF copies locally when a destination does not accept the original format.

  • Choose the output scale and playback speed.
  • Keep transparency where supported or choose a background color.
  • Skip items that already have a matching GIF to avoid duplicate work.
  • Clear the GIF cache from Settings when you need storage space; original media is kept.
Conversion is local, unlimited, and does not add a watermark.

Export a pack

Direct link

Choose a simple ZIP file or connect your own Telegram or Discord bot.

  • ZIP creates a portable local archive without connecting an online service.
  • Telegram creates a shareable sticker-set link through the bot you connect.
  • Discord posts each item as a normal attachment in the channel you choose; it does not add server stickers.
  • Export history keeps local links and records so you can find previous results.

Connect Telegram or Discord

Direct link

Both integrations are optional and use a bot that you create and control.

  1. 01Create a bot using Telegram BotFather or the Discord Developer Portal.
  2. 02Paste the bot token into the matching StickerGrab settings and connect.
  3. 03For Telegram, start the bot and link your account. For Discord, invite the bot to your server.
  4. 04Open a pack, choose the destination, and confirm the export.
Treat bot tokens like passwords. StickerGrab stores them locally and uses them only with the matching service when you connect or export.

Understand local data and privacy

Direct link

StickerGrab keeps its normal workspace local and uses the network only for actions that need it.

  • Collection items, packs, settings, drafts, conversions, and export history stay on your computer.
  • Network access is used when you import a link, save TikTok media, connect a bot, export to a service, open an external page, or submit feedback.
  • There is no StickerGrab account, cloud collection, crash reporting, or background feature-usage tracking.
  • The optional beta survey sends only the answers you submit, the app version, and your operating-system family—never sticker files, paths, links, usernames, or bot tokens.

Send feedback or rate StickerGrab

Direct link

A small feedback card may appear after meaningful use on three different days.

  • Quick survey opens an optional short form; nothing is sent until you choose Send feedback.
  • Maybe later waits 14 days. Closing the card disables automatic prompts.
  • Rate on itch.io opens the official StickerGrab page in your browser.
  • You can always report a bug from About without including private links or bot tokens.

Troubleshooting

Direct link

Try these common fixes before reporting a beta problem.

  • Export Stickers is missing: confirm you are on TikTok messages, the extension is enabled, and the page was refreshed after installation.
  • No stickers are found: open the correct conversation and wait until the wanted media is visible and loaded.
  • A link will not import: try the direct media URL or download the file yourself; private, login-only, protected, or removed pages may not work.
  • Telegram or Discord is empty: reconnect the correct bot and confirm it has access to the destination account, server, and channel.
  • A local preview is missing: open Settings → Storage → Missing files and select Check now.
  • If a problem repeats, report the source type, steps, expected result, actual result, and a screenshot—without private media or tokens.
