Technical guidance for a structured workflow.

Install StickerGrab, add the browser extension, export selected stickers from a TikTok DM, then organize, convert, send, or archive them locally.

Quick facts

Current release: StickerGrab v2.0.0.
Desktop platforms: Windows x64 and universal macOS.
Supported browsers: Chrome, Brave, Edge, Opera, and Vivaldi.
The extension is open-source under the MIT license.
There is no StickerGrab account, cloud, backend, or telemetry.

Install the desktop app

Download the current platform file from the official StickerGrab itch.io page.

  1. 01On Windows, download StickerGrab_2.0.0_x64-setup.exe and run the setup.
  2. 02On macOS, download StickerGrab_2.0.0_universal.dmg and install the app.
  3. 03Open StickerGrab and continue to Extension Setup.
The official download page uses name-your-own-price access and lists both current v2.0.0 files.

Add the browser extension

StickerGrab guides you through adding the local extension to a supported Chromium browser.

  1. 01Open Extension Setup inside the desktop app.
  2. 02Follow the displayed steps for Chrome, Brave, Edge, Opera, or Vivaldi.
  3. 03Keep the desktop companion open when exporting from TikTok.
The extension source is public on GitHub. Its localhost permission is used to hand selected files to the companion running on your own machine.

Export stickers from a TikTok DM

Use the extension while the sticker media is loaded in the DM thread.

  1. 01Open TikTok messages in the browser and enter the DM thread.
  2. 02Choose Export Stickers from the StickerGrab extension.
  3. 03Select the stickers and GIFs you want in the export picker.
  4. 04Confirm the export and return to the desktop collection.

Review the local collection

The Collection dashboard keeps captured items searchable and separates them by media type and source.

  • Search by the stored file information.
  • Filter animated, sticker, frame, and image items.
  • Filter TikTok captures separately from your own additions.
  • Select multiple items for conversion, deletion, or pack creation.

Build a pack

Create a named pack from selected favorites before sending or exporting.

  1. 01Select the items you want from the Collection.
  2. 02Choose Create pack and give the pack a useful name.
  3. 03Review the contents from the Packs section.
  4. 04Send the pack to a connected service or export it as a ZIP.

Convert WebP to GIF

Use the built-in local converter when a destination or workflow needs GIF output.

  • Choose the output scale.
  • Adjust playback speed.
  • Keep transparency where supported or choose a background matte.
  • Use the Discord-dark matte for transparent stickers intended for a dark Discord surface.
Conversion is local, unlimited, and does not add a watermark.

Send a pack to Telegram

Connect your own Telegram bot, then turn a local pack into a native sticker set.

  1. 01Create a bot through Telegram's BotFather and copy its token.
  2. 02Paste the token into StickerGrab settings and connect the bot.
  3. 03Start the bot so Telegram can provide the required chat ID.
  4. 04Choose a pack and send it to receive a shareable t.me/addstickers link.
Static and animated Telegram sticker sets are supported. The bot token is stored locally and masked in the app.

Send a pack to Discord

Connect your own Discord bot and select a channel in a server you control.

  1. 01Enter the bot details in StickerGrab settings.
  2. 02Connect the bot to your server.
  3. 03Choose the target channel.
  4. 04Send the selected pack when you are ready.
StickerGrab contacts Discord only when you connect or explicitly send through the Discord workflow.

Local data and privacy controls

The collection and integration details remain under your control on the machine.

  • Delete individual stickers or packs from the app.
  • Clear converted GIF cache while keeping originals.
  • Disconnect Telegram or Discord and remove stored tokens.
  • Uninstall the app and extension when you no longer want to use them.
