v1.2.1 Beta
Media ScraperOrderly Free Beta
A plain explanation of the local data Orderly keeps and the limited situations in which it uses the network.
Last updated: September 26, 2026
Orderly scans and organizes the folders you select on your computer. Profiles, settings, previews, run history, Undo records, reports, and diagnostics are stored locally.
Orderly does not upload the contents of folders you organize to KenoLabs. An Orderly account is not required for Free Beta.
Run summaries (JSON and text formats) are generated and saved exclusively on your local disk. You can configure Orderly to mask personal paths by default in Settings → Reports & privacy to redact usernames and user profile paths from previews and generated summaries.
When you request an update check, or enable checks at startup, Orderly requests a version manifest from the official GitHub channel. The request identifies the app version through its normal user agent. GitHub may receive ordinary connection information such as your IP address and user agent under its own privacy practices.
Orderly does not silently download or install an update. An installer download starts only after you choose the download action.
Feedback is sent only after you press Send feedback. It includes the category and message you submit, app version, operating-system platform, edition and environment, and a locally generated installation identifier.
The installation identifier is a randomly generated local identifier used exclusively to correlate beta issue reports and prevent duplicate troubleshooting records; it is never linked to your personal identity, files, or persistent hardware fingerprints.
The feedback request does not attach your files, file names, folder paths, profiles, run History, logs, reports, diagnostic ZIP files, or other diagnostics. The feedback service may receive ordinary connection information such as IP address and user agent.
Feedback is used to understand and fix beta problems and improve Orderly.
Orderly can create diagnostic exports locally when you explicitly request them. They remain on your device unless you independently choose to share them.
Free Beta does not silently upload diagnostic archives and does not include advertising, background tracking, or automatic feature-usage telemetry. Avoid sharing private files or unmasked diagnostic information unless support specifically requests it and you agree.
You can control the local data and app behavior by:
Clearing History removes saved run and Undo records; it does not delete files Orderly already organized.
Watch monitors selected profile folders while Orderly is running, including when its window is closed to the Windows system tray. Choose Quit Orderly from the tray menu to stop background watching.
Watch alone detects changes and does not organize files. Auto-apply is optional, must be enabled explicitly for a trusted profile, and is limited to one profile in Free Beta.
GitHub hosts release information and installer downloads. KenoLabs may operate the optional feedback endpoint. These services have their own terms and privacy practices.
KenoLabs uses reasonable technical and organizational measures for information received through its services. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Optional feedback and related operational records may be retained only as long as reasonably needed for support, abuse prevention, security, and product reliability.
Orderly is a general-purpose desktop utility and is not directed to children. KenoLabs does not knowingly collect personal information from children through Orderly.
This policy may be updated when Orderly's data flows or features change. The current version is published on the official KenoLabs website.
