Orenvo Pro — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how KenoLabs (“KenoLabs”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information in connection with Orenvo Pro, our Windows desktop software for image conversion, background removal, AI upscaling, and related image workflows.

We designed Orenvo Pro to keep your image files local whenever possible. This policy explains what stays on your device, what may be sent to our services, and how purchase, license, support, and diagnostic information may be handled.

By downloading, installing, activating, or using Orenvo Pro, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Local Image Processing

Supported image workflows run locally on your Windows PC.

For normal app workflows such as:

  • image conversion,
  • batch conversion,
  • background removal,
  • AI upscaling,
  • preview generation,
  • export workflows,

There is no browser upload step for normal supported workflows.

License checks, updates, model downloads, and support/reporting features may use network access.

2. Information We May Process

Orenvo Pro may process limited information in order to provide licensing, updates, support, usage limits, security, and product reliability.

This may include:

  • license key or license key reference,
  • purchase email,
  • order ID or purchase reference,
  • product and variant information,
  • license status,
  • device activation count,
  • device identifier or device hash,
  • app version,
  • operating system and platform,
  • activation timestamp,
  • last validation or heartbeat timestamp,
  • refund, revoke, or chargeback status,
  • support messages you choose to send,
  • diagnostic information you explicitly choose to submit.

We do not need your raw image files for license activation or normal license validation.

3. License Activation and Validation

Orenvo Pro uses KenoLabs’ secure license service to activate licenses, enforce device limits, validate license status, prevent abuse, and handle refund or chargeback-related license revocation.

When you activate or validate a license, the app may send limited license-related information to KenoLabs’ license service, such as:

  • your license key,
  • purchase email or order reference,
  • device identifier or device hash,
  • app version,
  • platform,
  • activation timestamp,
  • last seen timestamp.

This information is used to:

  • verify that the license is valid,
  • enforce the device limit,
  • prevent license sharing or abuse,
  • provide customer support,
  • revoke access for refunded, disputed, or charged-back orders,
  • maintain the security and integrity of the licensing system.

4. Payments, Receipts, and License Key Delivery

Payments, receipts, and license key delivery are handled by our authorized payment provider.

KenoLabs does not store your full payment card number or full payment card details.

The payment provider may process information such as:

  • name,
  • email address,
  • billing information,
  • payment method details,
  • order details,
  • tax information,
  • receipt and invoice information,
  • refund or chargeback information.

Payment processing is subject to the payment provider’s own terms and privacy practices.

5. Free Usage and Usage Limits

Orenvo Pro may include limited free usage for selected features.

To protect the free tier from abuse and to synchronize usage limits, the app may store or send limited usage-related information such as:

  • app identifier,
  • feature identifier,
  • usage count,
  • device or install identifier hash,
  • timestamp,
  • app version,
  • platform,
  • reset or support status.

This information is used only to manage usage limits, prevent abuse, and provide support.

6. Support and Reports

If you contact support or send a report from inside the app, we may receive the information you choose to provide.

This may include:

  • your message,
  • report type,
  • app version,
  • operating system,
  • license status,
  • purchase or license reference,
  • diagnostic details you choose to include.

Do not send private or sensitive files unless support specifically asks for them and you agree to share them.

Lightweight support messages do not include your image files by default.

7. Crash and Error Information

Orenvo Pro may collect limited crash or error information if this feature is enabled.

Crash or error information may include:

  • app version,
  • operating system,
  • error message,
  • stack trace,
  • feature area,
  • timing information,
  • limited technical diagnostics.

Crash reports are used to improve reliability, fix bugs, and understand app failures.

Crash reports should not include your image files unless you explicitly choose to send diagnostic attachments in a future support workflow.

8. Updates and Remote Configuration

Orenvo Pro may check for updates, version information, product configuration, pricing links, feature availability, security notices, or important announcements.

These checks may contact KenoLabs services and may include limited technical information such as:

  • app version,
  • platform,
  • environment,
  • request timestamp.

This helps us keep the app secure, compatible, and up to date.

9. What We Do Not Do

For normal Orenvo Pro workflows, we do not:

  • use a browser upload step for normal supported workflows,
  • use your image files to train AI models,
  • sell your personal information,
  • sell your image files,
  • store your full payment card details,
  • require cloud processing for image conversion, background removal, or upscaling.

10. Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by our services.

License and support records may be stored in secure systems operated by KenoLabs or trusted service providers.

No system is completely secure, but we work to reduce risk through limited data collection, access controls, redaction, and secure service design.

11. Third-Party Services

Orenvo Pro and KenoLabs services may use trusted third-party providers for:

  • payment processing,
  • license key delivery,
  • hosting,
  • app update delivery,
  • error reporting,
  • support workflows,
  • analytics or operational monitoring where applicable.

These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

12. Data Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for:

  • license activation and validation,
  • purchase and support records,
  • fraud and abuse prevention,
  • refund and chargeback handling,
  • legal, accounting, or tax obligations,
  • security and reliability.

Some records, such as order references, license status, refund status, and activation history, may be retained to prevent fraud, support customers, and maintain license integrity.

13. Your Choices

You can choose not to activate a Pro license, but Pro features may not be available.

You can contact us to request help with:

  • license activation,
  • device reset,
  • support records,
  • correction of inaccurate information,
  • deletion requests where legally and operationally possible.

Some information may need to be retained for legitimate business, legal, fraud prevention, or licensing reasons.

14. Children

Orenvo Pro is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Updated versions will be posted on the official Orenvo Pro website. Continued use of Orenvo Pro after an update means you accept the updated policy.
